Stephen Childs

Stephen began his NHS career as a practice manager in South East London. He held various posts in the north east including interim Chief Executive for NHS Tees before heading up NECS.
Stephen’s role is to set the strategic direction and he is passionate about building a customer centric organisation.

“Setting up a new business within the NHS is an extraordinary opportunity. I am very positive about the future and about achieving our enormous potential to help transform services and improve the health and wellbeing of communities.”

 

TEAM_IanBUSINESS INFORMATION SERVICES DIRECTOR
Ian Davison

Ian worked in commercial sectors including manufacturing, retail and consultancy before he joined the NHS ten years ago.
Ian heads up a team responsible for delivering ICT, business intelligence and data management.

“Business intelligence and ICT are crucial to running and transforming organisations and services. My challenge is to ensure we are at the cutting edge and giving customers innovative and creative solutions.”

Neil Nicholson

Neil has extensive NHS and commercial experience. Before joining NECS he held Director posts with NHS Tees and NHS Northeast. Neil is responsible for NECS finances as well as a team delivering support to customers for all aspects of financial management and budgets.

“We understand the challenging financial environment customers face and are here to optimise efficiencies, value for money and also spot opportunities to help make every pound go that little bit further.”

 

TEAM_michelleCORPORATE SERVICES DIRECTOR
Michelle McGuigan

Michelle is an HR professional and specialist Organisational Development practitioner who has worked exclusively in the NHS.
Michelle leads on HR, organisational development and communications for NECS and also for delivery the same quality service for external customers.

“Relationships are at the heart of an organisation – having the right workforce and developing good communications with key audiences are crucial. Our challenge is to help our customers do just that.”

 

TEAM_davidBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
David Randall

Prior to joining NECS, David held various positions in commercial sector organisations that worked closely with the NHS.
As Business Development Director his role is to both look after the current business and also spot and develop opportunities where NECS can make a difference.

“We are in a really unique place to be able to offer something different – we have the best of the NHS combined with the best from commercial business and have blended these into our own unique offer.”

 

TEAM_jackieDIRECTOR OF COMMISSIONING SUPPORT OPERATIONS
Jackie Park

Jackie started her career as a nurse and midwife and has held a number of management roles before her current one with NECS.
Heading up operations, Jackie’s team has a key role of managing customer relationships and providing critical commissioning support services.

“This role enables me to bring together my own experience on the frontline with many years in management roles. It’s a privilege to be working so closely with our customers to improve healthcare for people.”
