NECS Achieves the NHS Rightcare Kitemark

Wednesday 6th December 2017

We are pleased to announce that NECS has achieved the NHS RightCare kitemark. In order to achieve this we have demonstrated capabilities to support CCGs and systems to deliver the key processes within the NHS RightCare approach.

NHS RightCare is a national NHS England supported programme committed to delivering the best care to patients, making the NHS’s money go as far as possible and improving patient outcomes.

RightCare aims to help to ensure the best possible care is delivered as efficiently as possible, which is essential for both patients and the NHS.

Ensuring people access the right care, in the right place at the right time means the NHS can treat more people effectively, now and in the future.

We are looking forward to continuing to demonstrate our application of this in our work supporting our local health economies.

Liz Dunning, Senior Commissioning Finance Manager for NECS said, “Achieving the RightCare kitemark is testament to the team’s hard work from the beginning of this process earlier this year, followed by a formal process including a rigorous self-assessment framework and interview with the NHS RightCare panel. We are delighted to have achieved the RightCare kitemark.”
