NHS Child Health App Shortlisted for HSJ Value Award

The NHS Child Health app, which is available free through Google Play and the App Store, was launched last year by the North East Urgent and Emergency Care Network with help from the communications team at NECS.

The app is just one of the network’s initiatives helping to reduce the pressure on urgent and emergency care services, and has already been downloaded thousands of times.

The app has now made the final shortlist for the Communication category at the HSJ Value Awards.

Award winners will be announced at an event in Manchester on 7th June.  Watch this space to find out the result!

To see how the app works, search for ‘NHS child health’ in Google Play or the App Store, or to find out more, contact helen.fox6@nhs.net
