Following the successful Testing of Surge Plans event held in August this year, the annual Preparing for Winter and Systems Resilience event will be held on Wednesday 28 September 2022. The event will run from 9am to 3.30pm and will again be a virtual event via Microsoft Teams.

The event is aimed at staff involved in surge management across the North East and North Cumbria ICB from Primary, Secondary and Social Care, Voluntary and Independent Sector and commissioning organisations. The purpose of the event is to identify areas of best practice and innovation and to look ahead to winter 2022/23, given the ongoing increasing pressures on of our all services.
We would encourage attendance from each system within each ICB area, so we can agree and have a consistent approach to actions across the health and social care economy going forward. Please feel free to cascade this information and to colleagues and key partners.
A Teams calendar invitation will be sent to all colleagues who register with us once registration closes, along with the agenda and any supporting documents.
