The NECS Business Information Services ICT Service Delivery team has once again achieved a 3 star certification in their annual Service Desk Institute (SDI) Audit.  

The team achieved a score of 3.66 and a maturity rating of ‘Customer-led’, an increase from last year’s score of 3.44.

SDI’s Service Desk Certification (SDC) programme is the only industry-standard based accreditation programme designed specifically to certify service desk quality. The ‘Global Best Practice Standard for Service Desk’ provides a set of clear and measurable benchmarks for IT service operations.

Ian Harrison, Senior Operations Manager, said: ‘It is fantastic that we’ve not only retained our score but improved it from last year. The team has worked hard over the past 12 months, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning and should be proud of this achievement.’

The SDI team added: “Congratulations on achieving a Customer-led 3-Star Certification rating! This is an outstanding accomplishment.”
