ISO 22301 – Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS)

NECS has achieved the international standard ISO 22301, which provides a best-practice framework for implementing an optimised business continuity management system (BCMS), enabling yus to minimise business disruption and continue operating in the event of an incident.

ISO 9001:2015 certification for the delivery of project and programme management services

NECS is proud to have achieved the ISO 9001:2015 which is the world’s most recognised quality management systems standard, and helps ensure our quality of service is clear, repeatable and defines our commitment to creating products and services that consistently meet both customer and regulatory requirements.

BSI ISO27001 Information Security Standard

NECS is extremely proud to announce that it has attained ISO27001 certification. It demonstrates that NECS has defined and put in place best practice information security processes, showing the ability to manage and protect information assets in a safe and secure manner.

NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT)

The NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is mandated for all organisations that have access to NHS patient data, ensuring that they are practicing good data security and that personal information is handled correctly.

NECS has achieved the highest level of compliance – ‘Standards Exceeded’.  This demonstrates our outstanding performance in data security and protection as measured against the 10 standards set by the National Data Guardian.

Cyber Essentials Plus

NECS has been independently assessed and re-awarded Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This proves that NECS is working at protecting the organisation from a whole range of the most common forms of cyber-attacks and that our infrastructure has been updated and patched appropriately, as well as demonstrating that the organisation is committed to cyber security.

Service Desk Institute

NECS achieved a 3 Star Rating in the Service Desk Certification (SDC) programme, which is globally recognised, demonstrating quality of ICT service desk service.

Bronze Defence Employer Recognition Award

NECS has gained a bronze award. This is a self-nominated award, which pledges our intention to support Defence by taking a positive stance towards reservists who are either existing or prospective employees, supporting their training and mobilisation commitments.

The Employer Recognition Scheme recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises of bronze, silver and gold awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces and their families.

Armed Forces Covenant

NECS has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, showing our support and commitment to the Armed Forces Community.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.

Positive about disabled people

NECS is positive about employing disabled people and we have been awarded this symbol by Jobcentre Plus, as we have made commitments to employ, keep and develop the abilities of disabled staff.

Better Health at Work Award

NECS has held a Better Health at Work award for over three years, after meeting the exacting requirements of the award assessors.

The Maintaining Excellence award recognises the efforts of employers in proactively addressing health and wellbeing issues within the workplace. It is achieved by progressing through a series of levels – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Continuing Excellence and Maintaining Excellence via the completion of a criteria document, portfolio and full workplace assessment. NECS has also been awarded Ambassador Status in recognition of a long-term commitment and outstanding practice around workplace health and wellbeing – not only achieving, but consistently going above and beyond at every stage of the assessment.
