Our Clinical Quality team is a multi-disciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical subject matter experts in nursing and midwifery, palliative care, cancer, mental health, CQC professional advice, governance, risk management, quality and patient safety, project management, patient experience and contract management.
We are specialists in the development, implementation and monitoring of robust quality and governance systems to support the NHS Outcomes Framework, the national patient safety strategy, CQC action plans, and the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), providing customers with assurances that patients receive safe, high quality and effective care.
Our offer
Our services include:
- Patient Safety Incident investigation and management including ongoing support for outstanding Serious Incident investigations reported under the SI Framework (2015) and management and support for the introduction of PSIRF and the oversight and assurance frameworks required by commissioners.
- Complaints support including complaints handling and management, process improvement, evaluation of compliance with PHSO standards and template development.
- Incident reporting system and support, our expert team can support NHS and other organisations to report and manage incidents including development of reports to support thematic analysis and dissemination of lessons learned
- Regulatory compliance including providing support with CQC inspections to assess compliance.
- Quality Governance and Improvement, including supporting organisations to identify weaknesses within systems and developing solutions to improve patient safety and experience.
- Contract Quality Management ensuring that local and national quality requirements are met, evidenced and improvements supported
- Quality Assurance Visits (CAV) providing commissioners and providers with a tried and tested standardised and independent approach to ‘shop-floor’, evidence based and targeted assurance visits of their services
- Provider Collaborative Quality & Governance Framework design, implementation and assurance
- Quality Intelligence Reporting & Analysis including the collation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative quality information across providers in order to provide assurance at all levels of an organisation
- Relationship and Stakeholder Management, forming close collaborative working relationships bridging commissioner and provider organisations, ensuring that all stakeholders work towards the common quality goals of keeping the system safe.
- Quality Impact Assessment, including developing processes to support your organisation to accurately and objectively assess and mitigate impacts to quality arising from change.
