Our experience

  • NECS was asked to redesign the functionality and operating model of the London Region Portfolio Management Office (RPMO), to establish a single view of programme activity pan-London and assure Executive Directors that programme activity was aligned to strategic priorities and answering benefit realisation plans.
  • The team established future state RPMO functionality and operating model, standardised PMO tools and processes, and tool to summarise regional programme activity easily. This flexible operating model allowed specialist staff to be used more efficiently, upskilling of regional workforce with PMO and project management skills to build BAU capabilities, ensuring the successful management of key programmes including the management of the CV-19 response and ongoing recovery programme.
