The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards Ceremony took place on Friday 8th December at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle.

Our communications and engagement team had been shortlisted for several awards and had a very successful evening.

The Plasticine People campaign won:

Gold award in the public sector campaign category

Silver award in the healthcare campaign category

The plasticine people campaign contained messages encouraging best use of NHS services.  More information about the  campaign can be seen here.

The NHS Child Health app won:

Silver award for best community relations

Silver award for best use of digital

The NHS Child Health app, which is available free through Google Play and the App Store, was launched last year by the North East Urgent and Emergency Care Network with help from the communications team at NECS.  It is aimed at parents and carers with children aged 5 and under.

The Cyber Attack Communications response won:

Gold award in the low budget campaign category
